These terms govern your use of Milzune (milzune.com), a browser-based video compressor and converter. By using the site, you agree to them. They're written to be readable — if anything is unclear, ask us.

1. The service

Milzune provides in-browser video compression and conversion. Processing happens on your device; we do not receive or store your video files. The free tier is limited by file size and daily usage; Milzune Pro, a one-time purchase, removes those limits as described on the pricing page.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Process content you do not have the legal right to use, copy, or modify. You are solely responsible for the content you process — Milzune never sees it and cannot review it.
• Use Milzune to infringe copyright, violate someone's privacy, or break any applicable law.
• Attempt to disrupt the site, circumvent free-tier limits by technical means, resell access to the service, or misrepresent Milzune as your own product.

3. Output quality — no warranty

Video compression and conversion involve inherent trade-offs, and results vary with source material, settings, device, and browser. Milzune is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that output files will meet your quality expectations or be compatible with any specific device or platform. Always keep your original file until you've verified the output.

4. Purchases and refunds

Milzune Pro is a one-time payment processed by Stripe, not a subscription. If Pro doesn't meet your needs, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund — the policy is described in the refund section of the pricing page. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Milzune and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service — including lost data, lost profits, or corrupted output files. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, for free-tier users, is zero).

6. Intellectual property

You keep all rights to your videos — input and output. The Milzune name, site design, and site code remain ours. The underlying FFmpeg engine is open-source software used under its respective licenses.

7. Changes to the service and these terms

We may update the service and these terms over time. Material changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
